How to set up a Trading bot

This guide shows you how to create a Trading Bot and walks through each settings section you need to fill in.

Prerequisites

• A Cryptohopper account.
• An Explorer, Adventurer, or Hero subscription.

Steps

Create the bot

1. In the top-left menu, click "My bots".
2. Click "View all".
3. Click "+ New" in the top-right corner.
4. Click "Trading bot".
5. Choose the template you want to use and click "Select".
6. Fill in your API Keys or switch the "Paper trading" toggle.
7. Switch the toggle to enable your bot.
8. Click "Save". Your new bot is created.

Configure the bot

9. Click "Configuration".
10. Click "Baseconfig".

General settings

11. Click "Basic settings" and fill in the fields.
12. Click "Exchange" and fill in the fields.
13. Click "Notifications" and fill in the fields. (Optional)

Buy settings

14. Click "Buy settings" and fill in the fields.
15. Click "Coins and amounts" and fill in the fields.
16. Click "Strategy" and fill in the fields.
17. Click "Trailing Stop-Buy" and fill in the fields. (Optional)

Sell settings

18. Click "Sell settings" and fill in the fields.
19. Click "Sell strategy" and fill in the fields.
20. Click "Stop-Loss" and fill in the fields. (Optional)
21. Click "Trailing Stop-Loss" and fill in the fields. (Optional)
22. Click "Auto close" and fill in the fields. (Optional)
23. Click "Shorting settings" and fill in the fields. (Optional)
24. Click "Dollar Cost Averaging" and fill in the fields. (Optional)
25. Click "Save".
