What is troubleshooting your Trading bot
A step-by-step troubleshooting guide and a full reference of error messages that can appear in your Output.
Subscription
Check that you have an active subscription and that it is assigned to the correct bot. You can use one bot with real funds per subscription. See how to assign a subscription. If you don't have a paid subscription, you can still trade manually.
You can use 1 bot with real funds per subscription.
Enable your bot

Check the three toggles on your Dashboard:
First toggle — Bot enabled When disabled, no information is sent to or received from your exchange. Your bot is not working.
Second toggle — Buying enabled When enabled, your bot automatically buys based on your Baseconfig, Config Pools, Signalers, or Triggers. When disabled, no new trades open. Note: Triggers can turn buying off.
Third toggle — Selling enabled When enabled, your bot automatically sells based on your Baseconfig, Config Pools, Signalers, or Triggers. When disabled, no positions are sold.
API Keys

Check your API Keys and confirm your bot is connected to your exchange. Follow the exchange-specific connection tutorial — every exchange has a different setup. If no API errors appear in the Output, your bot is connected correctly.
Funds

Check your funds in two places on your Dashboard:
Total assets on exchange Shows all funds that have trading pairs with your quote currency. If your exchange has separate main and trading wallets, make sure funds are in your trading wallet.
Current assets

Found further down on the Dashboard. Shows all assets you hold on your exchange. You need your quote currency to trade automatically — your bot's goal is to grow that currency.
Output

The Output shows what your bot is doing and why. For example: it may show that the bot has reached its maximum number of open positions, or has hit the maximum allocated investment amount. Select a time period in the Output to filter results — the maximum is 500 entries. Use a shorter timeframe if you can't find what you're looking for.
