What is TradingView
An explanation of what TradingView is and how it integrates with Cryptohopper.
What is TradingView?
TradingView is a charting platform. With the TradingView app, you can send signals to your bot through TradingView Alerts via webhooks. TradingView Alerts work with Explorer, Adventurer, and Hero subscriptions — you need both a paid Cryptohopper subscription and a paid TradingView account.
Differences with the regular bot
Trades opened by TradingView Alerts do not follow all Baseconfig settings. This is intended behaviour. The following settings are not applied:
- Trailing Stop-Buy
- Dollar Cost Averaging
- Shorts
Additionally, when using TradingView Alerts, you are not limited to the currencies selected in your Baseconfig.
Similarities with the regular bot
The following Baseconfig settings are applied when using TradingView Alerts:
- Stop-Loss
- Trailing Stop-Loss
- Take Profit
- Auto-Close
Maximum open positions Cryptohopper checks the total number of open positions allowed by your subscription:
- Explorer: 80 open positions
- Adventurer: 200 open positions
- Hero: 500 open positions
