What are the settings of a Trigger

An explanation of every setting when setting up a Trigger — configuration options, indicators, and the 12 available trigger actions.

Trigger settings

Name Give your Trigger a name.

Enabled The Trigger is enabled by default when created. Toggle this off to disable it.

Select exchange Select the exchange you want the Trigger to apply to.

Select market Select the market to use for your indicator(s). This can be your quote currency or a specific trading pair.

Select candle size Select the candle size to use for your indicator(s).

Select indicator(s) Select the indicator(s) you want to use — there are 13 options. You can select multiple indicators that must all trigger simultaneously before the Trigger executes.

Cooldown period The time the Trigger is disabled after firing before it can trigger again.

Trigger actions

Select the actions you want the Trigger to execute. Click + next to each action to reveal the fields to fill in. There are 12 options.

Load template Switch between different templates based on market conditions. Select the template to load and choose whether to overwrite or reset your existing Triggers when the template loads.

Set buying status Enable or disable buying when the Trigger fires.

Set selling status Enable or disable selling when the Trigger fires.

Hold positions Select the currencies you want to hold. These will not be sold when the Trigger fires.

Unhold positions Select the currencies to stop holding. These will be sold when the Trigger fires.

Set take profit Select currencies and fill in a percentage. When the Trigger fires, the Take Profit for those currencies is updated to the configured value.

Buy Select the currencies your bot should buy when the Trigger fires.

Sell Select the currencies your bot should sell when the Trigger fires.

Open short Select the currencies to short when the Trigger fires. The bot sells the selected currencies from open positions (opens a short), reserves the funds in your quote currency, then buys back when your shorting requirements are met.

Close short Select the currencies to close a short position on when the Trigger fires. The bot buys back the currencies using the reserved quote currency funds.

Sell everything / Panic mode The bot sells all open positions and disables buying. Uses limit orders by default — you can switch to market orders.

Send email You receive an email notification when the Trigger fires.
