How to set up a Paper Trading bot with the app

This guide shows you how to create and configure a Paper Trading Bot using the Cryptohopper iOS or Android app.

Prerequisites

• A Cryptohopper account.
• An Explorer, Adventurer, or Hero subscription.
• An understanding of the differences between Paper Trading and trading with real money.
• The Cryptohopper iOS or Android app installed.

Steps

Create the bot

1. Launch the app and log in.
2. Tap the bot name at the top of the screen, then tap + to create a new bot.
3. Select "Trading bot".
4. Choose a template and tap "Select".
5. Enable the "Paper trading" toggle.
6. Enable your bot and tap "Save". Your new bot is created.

Add a starting balance

7. You will be directed to a screen to deposit a starting balance. Enter the amount you want to deposit and tap "Deposit".

Configure the bot

8. Tap "Configuration" than "Baseconfig". Review your settings and adjust if needed.

General settings

9. Fill in Basic settings.
10. Fill in Exchange.
11. Fill in Notifications. (Optional)

Buy settings

12. Fill in Buy settings.
13. Fill in Coins and amounts.
14. Fill in Strategy.
15. Fill in Trailing Stop-Buy. (Optional)

Sell settings

16. Fill in Sell settings.
17. Fill in Sell strategy.
18. Fill in Stop-Loss. (Optional)
19. Fill in Trailing Stop-Loss. (Optional)
20. Fill in Auto close. (Optional)
21. Fill in Shorting settings. (Optional)
22. Fill in Dollar Cost Averaging. (Optional)
23. Tap "Save".
