How to set up a Paper Trading bot

This guide shows you how to create and configure a Paper Trading bot.

Prerequisites

• A Cryptohopper account.
• An Explorer, Adventurer, or Hero subscription.
• An understanding of the differences between Paper Trading and trading with real money.

Steps

Create the bot

1. In the top-left menu, click "My bots".
2. Click "View all".
3. Click "+ New" in the top-right corner.
4. Select "Trading bot".
5. Choose the template you want to use and click "Select".
6. Toggle the "Paper trading" switch.
7. Enable your bot by toggling the switch.
8. Click "Save". Your new bot is created.

Add a starting balance

9. You will be directed to a screen to deposit a starting balance. Specify the amount you want to deposit and click "Deposit".

Configure the bot

10. Click "Configuration" ? "Baseconfig". Review your settings and adjust if needed.

General settings

11. Fill in "Basic settings".
12. Fill in "Exchange".
13. Fill in "Notifications". (Optional)

Buy settings

14. Fill in "Buy settings".
15. Fill in "Coins and amounts".
16. Fill in "Strategy".
17. Fill in "Trailing Stop-Buy". (Optional)

Sell settings

18. Fill in "Sell settings".
19. Fill in "Sell strategy".
20. Fill in "Stop-Loss". (Optional)
21. Fill in "Trailing Stop-Loss". (Optional)
22. Fill in "Auto close". (Optional)
23. Fill in "Shorting settings". (Optional)
24. Fill in "Dollar Cost Averaging". (Optional)
25. Click "Save".
