How to set up an Algorithm Intelligence Strategy with TradingView Alerts

This guide shows you how to set up TradingView Alerts for an Algorithm Intelligence Strategy.

Prerequisites

• A Cryptohopper account.
• A TradingView account and subscription.
• A configured Algorithm Intelligence Strategy.

Steps

Set up the TradingView Alert

1. Log in to TradingView.
2. Search for the trading pair and exchange you use.
3. Select the candle size.
4. Select the indicator you want to use.
5. Click "Alert".
6. Fill in the "Conditions" — fields vary depending on the indicator selected.
7. Under "Trigger", select how often you want the alert sent to your bot.
8. Fill in the expiration time.
9. Fill in a name under "Alert Name".
10. Under "Message", enter action:{{strategy.order.action}}. If you're unsure what to use, refer to the AI TradingView Alerts examples.
11. Click "Notification".
12. Check the "Webhook URL" option.
13. Click "Create".

Add TradingView as a source in your AI

14. Go to your Cryptohopper account and select the bot with your AI.
15. Click "My Library".
16. Click "Algorithm Intelligence".
17. Click on the AI you want to use.
18. Click "Sources".
19. Select "TradingView".
20. Fill in the required fields.
