Supported exchanges
This page lists all exchanges currently supported by the Cryptohopper Market Data MCP, and the subscription tiers under which each exchange is accessible. The list is updated whenever exchange support changes.

Product scope
The Cryptohopper Market Data MCP exposes spot market data only. Cryptohopper does not currently support perpetuals, futures, or options data through the MCP, and does not plan to add them in the near term.
Per-pair availability
Not every pair is available on every exchange. The set of pairs available through the MCP matches what the underlying exchange offers on its public market-data API.
To list the pairs available on a specific exchange:
- Use the list_markets tool through your MCP client. The model can be prompted with: List all pairs available on Binance through the Cryptohopper MCP.
- Results are returned in a structured form suitable for agent consumption.
Pair symbols follow the format BASE/QUOTE (e.g. BTC/USDT, ETH/USD). Per-exchange symbol conventions are normalised server-side.
Data types per exchange
All supported exchanges expose the following data types through the MCP:

Historical data by exchange
Historical candle data is available on Explorer, Adventurer, and Hero. The maximum lookback per tier:

Historical depth beyond a given tier's limit returns a tier-restriction error. See error reference.
Regional restrictions
Exchange availability through the MCP mirrors the exchange's own public data access. Regional restrictions applied by exchanges (for example, Binance's regional deployments) may reduce availability for users in certain jurisdictions.
Cryptohopper does not apply additional regional restrictions on top of what the underlying exchange enforces.
Deprecated exchanges
Exchanges that were previously supported but have been removed from the MCP. This list is maintained for reference.

If an exchange is removed from the MCP, outstanding tool calls targeting it will return an EXCHANGE_NOT_SUPPORTED error. See error reference.
Requesting a new exchange
Exchange additions are prioritised based on user demand and the stability of the exchange's public market-data API. To request a new exchange, contact Cryptohopper support through your account or see the roadmap for pending additions.
